Ever since after the Nationals ended I have immersed myself at the court in most of my free time. Now every day I seem to be practicing forehands with Yong Jing, Michael and Eugene. I guess we are all die-hard tennis enthusiasts. Even when it was raining a little we still smacked backhands here and there. Among the group Yong Jing has probably the best volley while I have the best forehand, so we make a good pair.
The only gripe I have about it though is that we should be doing more rallies. Like 'tui gong' in table tennis. Or maybe even do some feeding. I guess most of the time its because of the lack of balls that we strafe away and play some whack whack there game which lasts less than a few shots. Eugene could do with more forehand practice. Me too. Mine always goes into the net. I have to go and buy lots of cheap balls soon so we can learn to serve overhead and all. Not to mention new grips, overgrips and dampeners. I just lost both my Wilson ones. Ergh.
